What the $450 Monthly Pasture Board Includes
The monthly pasture-board fee includes pasture turnout, access to available shelter, drinking water, reasonable routine visual observation, and Bermuda grass hay when Summit Ridge Performance Horses determines that seasonal conditions or limited grazing require supplemental Bermuda hay.
The $450 pasture-board fee does not include individual feeding, grain, alfalfa, supplements, medications, blanketing, fly protection, stall care, wound care, veterinary care, farrier care, training, exercise, grooming, hauling or other individualized services.
Describe requested feed, supplements, medications or other care
Important: Requested services are not automatically accepted. Summit Ridge Performance Horses must approve the care arrangement and applicable charges in writing. The Facility is not required to provide a service merely because it is requested.
I understand that grain, alfalfa, supplements, medications, blankets, specialty hay and additional labor are at my expense.
Emergency Veterinary Authorization
Summit Ridge Performance Horses will make reasonable efforts to contact the Owner and emergency contact when the Horse appears to require urgent care.
If the Owner cannot be reached promptly, the Owner authorizes the Facility to contact a licensed veterinarian, provide reasonable basic first aid, arrange emergency treatment or transportation, follow veterinary instructions, and take reasonable action to reduce suffering or prevent further injury.
The Owner is responsible for all veterinary charges, transportation, medication, supplies, special feed, aftercare and Facility labor associated with the emergency.
Maximum emergency veterinary expenses the Facility may authorize without further approval
